Meriwether Help
General Help
Gateway Software Corporation's Meriwether Web OPAC runs on
the IBM AS/400 computer. Working in conjunction with GSC's Library Management
System, Meriwether provides a seamless browser-based interface to your library
holdings.
Client requirements: You must use a Javascript-enabled browser to use
Meriwether. GSC has successfully tested Meriwether with the following browsers:
Netscape Navigator 3.0, 4.0 and 4.7; Internet Explorer 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0. Note:
While Netscape Navigator 2.0 does offer some Javascript support, it does not
support all Javascript functions found in Meriwether. Additionally, you must
configure your browser to accept cookies. Meriwether assigns cookies for
navigation purposes and to "remember" your last search selection (library
type/library). Meriwether does not use cookies to track your movements through
the OPAC.
